My imac crashed twice and twice I had the internal power supply unit changed. I am dying without my imac as I compose music and it’s been a year since the crash! I think I’ll take it in one last time to have that unit replaced again. The 1st time I had it fixed they fibbed and told me it was the logic board to just get me to not come back it seems but I came back again, had it repaired and it worked for a week before the power intake gave out again. If anyone here has any other suggestions, I’d love to hear it. I do recall them saying none of those indicator lights would come on the 1st time but after replacing the power thingy, it worked fine.
Also, if anyone is buying a new imac and can sell me their old one at a charitable price, I’ll also include my next album I’m composing when I can accesses it again, in return. I just cant bring myself to go on one of those crowd sourcing sites to raise the funds for the tools (imac) to complete the second album. The 1st is on iTunes and its composed using Garageband. Please advise?? I hope good Karma will find me soon as for years, I sold my old imacs way under the price I could have because most everyone on craigs list were selling theirs for only a few hundreds less than what they may have paid years ago. I sold the last one from 2004 in 2007 for 400. and the one before that I bought in 2002 for 500 and these were the top teer imac models. : (
