Ok, Im a chick whos a bit of a noob, im running 10.6.6 on a i7 imac...
I updated to 10.6.6, and was trying to go to lion, was using a downloaded copy but said.the mac osx didnt support it, so googled and saw from a few different pages thst somethingbeast? would work. so downloaded that, started installing when it said couldnt.load pti? or something then that.black box came uo saying i nees to restart in different.languages. so do that but now its stuck and keeps asking.me. Ive tries bootin in safe mode, but the login screen seams locked (mouse moves.bur.cant.type or click on anything). i cant even find the installation disk that came with it, but have the lion download on my external hd (as well as everything else) so im fine with wiping it clean).
really need some advice as Im selling it thursday (got a buyer)!!!

My advise is to reload Snow Leopard and then start from there.
