imac isight print prob

just recently, my isight g5 imac just wont print. If i try to print any file - appleworks/ preview/ iphot etc the imac just spins its beach ball. I then have to force quit the application to continue. used to work ok.

any ideas on what to do?

tried seperate mbp on same printer - ok.
