I just started using Klipsch 2.1 speakers and deleted about 8k songs out of my itunes and no my songs randomly skip like a scratched cd. Its never done it with the same songs ever before. I restarted the computer. I dont really know what to think about it. I ran the new speakers for about 8 hours the day i got them and it had no effect on how the songs played but I figured id still mention they have just been added.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

have you tried repairing permissions? just to start off with.

are your speakers connected via optical, 3.5" mm?
is your library on an internal drive or external?

I havent tried repairing permissions. I will try that now. Thanks.

My speakers are connected through the headphone jack (i'm assuming its 3.5mm).

My library is on the internal hard drive.

There were probably 100 things that came up with Disk Permissions Repair. 95% of them were "something/Airport/something"... i honestly cant remember exactly what it said because i closed it and it cleared the list.
