Hello, can someone help the last few days every time i restart or when ever my imac goes into stand by when it wakes up the internet is not working untill i click "Network diagnostics" im using wired Ethernet but to get it working again i have to choose wifi then select a wireless network to join then it suddenly says "Your internet connection appears to be working correctly" (Using wired) Any ideas how i can fix this its only started doing it recently and i dont think its had any updates im using Mac os x lion 10.7.4 Thanks in advanced.

This is very strange. I have seen this before with wireless ethernet but not wired ethernet. I would suggest creating a new network location from within the Network pane of System Preferences. You could also try deleting the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration folder, which contains all your network settings, and restarting the iMac.

Thanks for the help just tried that and it seems to be working atm hopefully it will stay that way :)
