My late 2012 iMac would not get Big Sur, been kinda slow and had some issues, so I finally got a new one the 2020 i7 5500 XT one in December, besides that it consumes literally two times more power doing the same stuff,
(is barely noticeable any faster) mostly youtube and web browsing in safari,
(which I really don't like, especially since the environmental reports made me expect otherwise) and I discovered that most of the time I put it to sleep just the screen shuts down and it keeps consuming about 23W whole night,
it keeps completely randomly shutting down,
it happens every day for a couple of days,
then it doesn't for a couple of days,
then it happens a couple of times in a day,
seem so completely random,
every time it happens I was on youtube, so I'm annoyed, probably would be beside myself if I was working and lost work.
It happens like that:
the screen turns black, does not shut down, just black but the backlight is still on,
and if I do not click the mouse or press any key the audio keeps playing for about 3 minutes then it restarts,
if I click the mouse or press on the keyboard immediately the audio starts repeating like half a word like a broken record, so creepy, and that would also go for about 3 minutes and it restarts.
I was searching how to find out why is this happening, I found this website

so -20 supposedly means it's the T2 fault, and I remembered reading of this happening with the iMac Pro after it was released, so it may be still the same thing? I guess Apple does not care at all? They did not fix this chip for years and put it in a brand new iMac?
I could not find what -63 means but I noticed something may be interesting in the crash reports after it restarts, I have no idea what any of this means but most of them look the same to me, also the same as they looked when my old iMac sometimes crashed, like this:

I'm annoyed thinking about sending it for warranty and not having it for two weeks (there is no Apple Store in my country) and I've read some people got back and it still had the same issue. Sorry for my poor English, I'm writing because I'm frustrated is it really the same T2 issue that people had for years?
