I know others have talked about this with their MacBook Pros but are people having this issue with iMacs running Catalina?

When I try to wake my iMac from sleep, it sometimes has experienced a kernel panic? The entire computer needs to reset. It's frustrating on a brand new iMac. Thanks for any thoughts

Yes. Mine did that twice two months ago more or less, both times also while on sleep and then rebooted. Turn off Power Nap, mine stopped doing that ever since I did that. It's a shame Apple hasn't fixed that bug yet.

Never had that happen with Catalina, but it was the main reason why I skipped Mojave entirely and downgraded back to High Sierra. My 2017 iMac kept crashing on wake or while asleep regularly, sometimes multiple times a week, and it was annoying as F.
