Imac late '09 problem

Sometimes when I click on a bookmark tab or other tabs on web sites, it pulls
up boxes like this:
Open Link in new tab
Open link in new window
Save link as
Copy link


Back
Reload
Save as
Print
Translate
View page info

Also pulls up other similar boxes. To get rid of them, I have to go to a blank spot on the page I'm on & click on the mouse several times. Very frustrating. Any way to stop this?
