Just got my iMac yesterday (late 2009, refurbished, 21.5"), and I absolutely love it, huge step up from my little 13" MBP! The screen isn't perfect (when I do the tests) but I barely notice it so I'm not particularly bothered.
Just two things, not problems, just wonder why this is the case:
1) There is roughly a 5mm gap between the screen (the menu bar) and the black bezel, yet on the bottom, the screen ends and the bezel begins. It looks like it just hasn't been put on centrally, but I'm sure somebody can explain why?
2) In the bottom left corner (and only this corner), the screen gets darker, like a gradient, as if it's curled or something (obviously it hasn't), why is this the case?
The other thing I had was the first CD I put in was the iLife '11 'CPU Drop-In DVD' which now has 5 or 6 1cm scratches in that are quite deep and mean the disc no longer functions, can this be replaced? There's no way to install iLife again if not?
Thanks guys!
