Hey I got a question for you guys i just bought a late 2013 imac 21.5in how long will this machine be supported with os updates. Just wondering. If you guys could write me back. I would appreciate it. Thanks

I’ll guess that Catalina will be its last supported OS. It’ll be seven years old next year.

2012 Macs are still supported with Catalina, maybe next version will be the last for 2013 Macs.
I think you can expect 2 more years of macOS system upgrades support (plus about 3 more years for THAT OS to run out of security updates.
As the 2013 is still a practical system, I would make sure that it doesn't have just the basic hard drive, and you could also consider replacing even a fusion drive with a pure SSD. Prices continue to come down for SSDs, and the difference (particularly compared to a spinning HDD) is dramatic.
Just my opinion

Hey guys!

I was wondering... since you're big fans of the iMac 27" 2009-2011 at this forum... ;)

Would you replace an iMac 27" Mid-2011, i5 3.1 GHz, 16GB RAM 1333MHz, recently updated GPU K1100 2GB for an iMac 21.5" Late-2013, i5 2.7 GHz, 8GB RAM 1666Mhz (can be upgraded to 16GB too), GPU Iris Pro 5200 1.5GB?

I mean, apart from the screen size, I made Geekbench 5 tests and the results are:
- iMac 2011:
  1. Single Core Score: 703
  2. Multi Core Score: 2307
  3. OpenCL Score: 1487
  4. Metal Score: 1653
- iMac 2013:
  1. Single Core Score: 803
  2. Multi Core Score: 2822
  3. OpenCL Score: 4795
  4. Metal Score: 516
I mean, there's not a huge difference between both tests, so I don't know if it's worth it! Or maybe wait some time and get a 27" late-2013!

What do you think guys?

Thx! ;)
