IMac looking for compatible monitor

hi!
I am looking for a PC monitor for imac. I have to use VGA converter for plugging the PC monitor into the imac. Which seems faulty, as it starts showing pinkish tint randomly.

I want to know if there are small screen sizes available in Mac. ( lesser than 24", 27" and 30" )

If not, is their any PC monitor available, that can directly be plugged into imac, without the need of any converter in between ?
