I find that, intermittently, my iMac shows the icon in the menubar which indicates that it's finding my location. When I click on that icon, it reports that it is "Setting Time Zone". But I have explicitly denied the iMac from finding my location to set the Time Zone, in the "Security & Privacy" pane of the System Preferences.
This also sometimes happens with the iMac reporting that it is "Wi-Fi Networking", even though that is explicitly denied in System Preferences, too.
Am I missing something, or does unchecking the permissions checkboxes in fact do nothing?
