iMac losing wifi connecton

My 2017 iMac loses wifi connection after it sits awhile and you re-log on a user account. If you click on the connect wifi you get a spinning wheel that won't go away unless forced to. However, it will not reconnect unless you shut down the computer and restart. I tried deleting all of my wifi connections and re-entering just my home account but the problem happens again. Also it happens to all the user accounts on the computer.

Try the old trick of Reset NVRAM or PRAM on Your Mac.
See if that old trick works.
