Anyone know if the RAM from a new 27" iMac (2x4GB) will work in a Late 2012 2.5GHz i5 Mac mini?

The iMac sticks and the currently installed 2x2GB in the Mac mini are both made by Elpida.

iMac RAM no: EBJ41UF8BDU5-GN-F

According to Apple, the specs are identical: 1600MHz, PC3-12800, SO_DIMM, 204 PIN, 1.35v.

Update in case anyone is interested: yes, the above iMac RAM sticks do work in the above Mac mini: mem-tested continuously overnight after installation and all good.

will it work for cMbp 2012?

hi, may I know if this elpida ram ebj41uf8bdu5-gn-f will work with my macbook pro 13 mid 2012 non retina? thanks a lot!

As long as its DDR3, 12800 it will work.

yap it is DDR3, 12800 but is the size (dimension) the same?
the 1st link below is showing the picture of the elpida ram and 2nd link showing mbp mid 2012 ram, it is different right? elpida has 8 duts but mbp 2012 only 4 duts.. hmmm, can I really use this elpida ram for mbp?

here is the specs for the elpida ram: http://www.electrobyt.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7018#.VWr3ZmAQnVo

The number of chips denotes the density of the module. Your 2012 should support both 4 and 8 chips.
The RAM linked from eBay will work with your 2012.
