iMac, Macbook for Aperture 3

Hi,

I wonder if you could give me some help deciding on which Macs to buy.

I currently use Aperture 3 on a mid 2010 Mac Mini and notice a bit of a performance drop making things quite slow. I am going to be buying a laptop and possibly an iMac and would appreciate some advice on the specification I would at least need to buy to get good performance with Aperture.

Just buy the best spec you can afford surely?
But id say anything i5 and above with 4gb would cope with Aperutre abuse?
