iMac makes soft noise

Hi,
My iMac makes very soft but audio able noise.

Example:
Noise..pause..noise..pause.

I believe its coming from the back-sounds like a fan?

But when I first ran it, it hardly had any noise..

Help is appreciated.

My guess would be it is the hard drive making this type of noise.
