iMac + mbp + iPod

So I have those three devices. I have two front row remotes. when both machines are on and I try and use the remote, all three machines get activated (iPod is in dock). I have one remote for the iMac and one remote for the mbp. is there a way to pair one remote with the laptop and one with the desktop? Or is that just wishful thinking?

i have heard of people walking into aple stores and using the remote, and that it activates FR on all the nearby machines. I am not 100% sure, but i think that you are out of luck. There might be some 3rd party app out there though.
