The Quadro K610M supports DisplayPort 1.2 (HBR2) and can do 4K at 60 Hz, however, the iMac's Light Ridge Thunderbolt 1 controller which the video signal always passes through only supports DisplayPort 1.1 (HBR), which limits you to 4K at ≈41 Hz when using custom CVT-RB timings (360 MHz pixel clock limit) or 4K at 30 Hz using standard CVT-RB (262.75 MHz pixel clock) or HDMI timings (297 MHz pixel clock).

You'd have to see/experience 30 Hz yourself to know if it's sufficient for you or not. (For me, it's not.) The theoretical maximum is 4K at 41 Hz (using CVT-RB timings) because DisplayPort 1.1 has a 360 MHz pixel clock limit at 8bpc RGB (288 MHz at 10bpc RGB).
