Hi,
The 500 GB HDD of my iMac mid 2011 (21,5") is making "a lot of" noise and I simply want to shut it down (eject) during the login into MacOS 10.9.1.
Is there any script available for this purpose?
I am also considering to move the 250 GB SSD (currently mounted in an external Seagate Thunderbolt connector) into the iMac (behind the DVD burner). In this step I could maybe just disconnect the internal HDD.
But first I want to try it be means of "software".
