Dear forum, greetings from Austria,

three weeks ago I went to my friendly Apple-dealer and ordered an Imac 21,5 '' with Fusiondrive. He told me that it would take one up to two weeks for delivery..
I spoke to him twice but he is not able to give me any information on delivery status or delivery time. This surprised me, whereas every customer ordering a computer in the Apple online store gets detailed information on delivery status.

I am in the process of cancelling the order (with European law you can set a timeframe and if there happens to be no delivery the contract can be cancelled). But the dealer cannot cancel his order at Apple for me.

What could happen, that i will cancel the order next week to make an order on Black Friday, saving maybe 100 € and playing another waiting game...

Anyone with similar experiences or maybe a tip whom to contact at Apple to get some information out of them ?

As much as I like the products, the delivery of the goods sometimes is annoying..
