iMac Model - Late 2013 model, 21.5"
usage - only 1 week old

Ok Guys, I just bought my very first iMac and i absolutely love it! I installed office for mac 2011 as this is what i work out of, but i have one issue i can't figure out and it's killing me.

I can not find my flagged messages!! On windows i was used to a pane on my right side that listed all my flagged emails. I can't seem to find a similar option on my iMac. I read the link below, but still no help

http://www.it.cornell.edu/services/guides/facstaff_email/flags-outlook2011mac.cfm

Under "smart folder" i see a folder that says "flagged emails" I went in there and there is nothing. I have about 20 important flagged emails. Can someone please help me figure this out, it's killing me!

TIA

These should be showing up in the task screen as unfinished tasks. If you add flag status to the columns in the message list (right click anywhere in the column headings (From, Subject, Date Received, etc.) and select flag status), do your previously flagged messages show up as flagged?

To confirm, is your mail account on an Exchange server? I'm not sure flag status will carry over if you're running Outlook against an IMAP account.

I am on an exchange server. Another thing that may be causing this: my email is still syncing. I have a sync dialogue box that's still doing it's thing. looks like it's syncing all my folders. Could this maybe be the issue?
