I was just channel surfing and saw The Price Is Right was on so i watched for a few min....then the next thing i saw was a 20 inch iMac.....it was a core duo....not a core 2 duo....which i only know because of the price they said it was...1699....but anyways, everybody overbid by alot...like 2000+ dollars, except for one who bid $1....i guess none of them follow the pricing of macs very much:)

The Comedy Central TV show

Distraction.

the "winner" would get to answer 3 or 5 more questions in the final round. A wrong answer would force the contestant to destroy in a nice fashion, a random one of their prizes.

Sometimes they had Macs, and sometimes, they blew up or had cement dropped onto them.

yes! That was soooo painful to watch! I almost cried!....Well at least there was no harm done to this beautiful iMac.......but yeah i do remember that episode of distraction......makes me wanna puke...jk:)

I got angry with that show. It made me really mad to watch that. not only because they were breaking pretty macs, but thinking of all the schools that desperately needed equipment like that, which they were just destroying.

And I didn't like the host.

That just might be the best prize that they have ever offered on that show! ;) :D

This summer I watched it and they had a maxed out G5 PowerMac in one of the showcases. It was very expensive.

They also blew up a MacBook Pro. Hard Drive and RAM everywhere. AFAIK they had bought applecare so they could get it fixed. :D

I saw a car commmercial the other day, Nissan I believe. A woman was sitting at a computer browsing car specs. The comp was an iMac. At different times in the commercial, both the Apple logo on the chin and the iMac lettering on the back were prominently displayed.
