iMac one week old

Hi my friend just bought an iMac one week ago. What's the go? Is it just bad luck for her that the new one came out today? Or can she swap it for free? Can she at least get ilife08 or anything? Seems like she got a raw deal to me

Yeah, you can return it, apple has a 14 day return policy.

Or try to negotiate a refund for the new discount on the refurb price of the same machine.

I think this is the best route to take, or if the 10% restocking fee tacked onto the price of one of the new iMacs (cheaper for the same specs) may be an option too.

One thing is for sure... don't be like this joker. The week old iMac is still a great computer, and if she felt it were a fair enough deal to buy then, it probably still is. There's no harm in asking, and I think asking for an adjustment is a fair trade.
