I currently have a white MacBook but I'm planning on starting up a home studio and I was wondering what Mac I should buy. I was thinking of the iMac but I don't know which iMac I should get. I would like an iMac with a 24" display but I don't know which one I need! Can anyone help me?

This will help you find out what you need-

Just answer my questions.

Answer with as little thought as possible, try answering off the top of your head.:)

  1. Do you travel regularly?
  2. What is your preference in screen size?
  3. Do you use a stationary home stereo/montior system?
  4. How much HD space do you need?
  5. What else will you be using your machine for?

Macbookpro

in my opinion the macbook pro would be the best of both worlds. You would have portability when you needed it and when you didn't you simply plug in a display and you have your desktop computer.

I have a MacBook Pro with a 23" ACD
Normally I have it placed on a Rain mStand using it as dual monitors

But, if I need to take it with me... I can
I like that flexibility

It costs more to do it this way... no doubt
And if you don't need the portability, then the iMac is the way to go
