Hi everyone,

Since I have been planning on buying a new imac, I have stumbled upon two things:
1. I currently use a Dell desktop with a lot of photos, iTunes music and word documents. Is there a safe and simple way to convert these files to a mac and put them on a mac ?
2. I am scared that if I buy an imac now, there might come a new one out soon. Will there be major changes in the new imac and is it worth waiting for?.
(I'm talking about a new body/chassis, things like RAM and processor don't bother me)

Thanks,
A Almost-Mac-user

hi of course u can transfer all your files to your new computer, this can be done when you first boot up but of course also afterwards.

The iMac was only updated back in mai I think, so it will still take a while before it will update.

Btw when buying an iMac, the best choice u can get is the starting model or the top of the line.
