Any thoughts on when people are expecting these? Or is apple going to be apple and keep quiet until the big day?

The iMac is a desktop and the iBook is a notebook. If you want an iMac, get one now because they where just released. If you would prefer an iBook or smaller PowerBook and can't wait, then get one now. It will still last a long time. If you prefer an iBook or smaller PowerBook and are willing to wait, then wait. You'll get a more powerful machine for the same price. Where is the dilemma?
