New iMac 27", 12G RAM

I have 2 profiles set up, one for me and one for the wife. Imported her 60 000 pictures from our old PC (not a typo, lol) and allowed it to do all the sorting, indexing, etc. But...

I haven't turned on photo stream for her (she has an iPhone 4S) because I'm not sure if the photo stream will see the 60K pics as 'new' and include them? 1. I don't want/need that, and 2. I sure as heck don't want to go through hours of indexing again, lol.

Anyone know if I have to wait a month for photo stream to not import, or will it know the difference?
