I have a 7 month old 27inch iMac.
I have been happily using a Epson 4880 wide format printer & a Mitsubishi dye-sublimation printer with it for some time.
I installed my xerox printer (Lazer) yesterday & that was fine. (so 3 printers in the printer dialogue box)
unfortunately, I cant use that, as i am waiting for consumables. So today, I set up and installed a Canon IP4500 bubble jet printer.
Having installed it, it is NOT shown in the printer dialogue box & NOR is the Mitsubishi OR the xerox! ONLY THE Epson there. I uninstalled the canon, then reinstalled the Mitsubishi, which is the important one! Its still not showing in the printer dialogue box. I have tried "adding" it, but not there. I installed the (CD) software & also downloaded from the net & installed. ....NO LUCK!
I have had printer issues with the mac, since I got it, NEVER being able to run an EPSON R200 & and 4880 AT THE SAME TIME, one installation would overwrite the other.
I need at least to get back to having the 2 main, photo printers (4880 & dye-sub) working at the same time! Plus ideally one other.
Anybody any ideas at all, where do I go from here? ALL of these have been connected via USB, as apposed to network.
thanks!
