it looks like the SSDs are not SAMSUNG OEM but Apple's own design. also, it seems that they have a new (proprietary?) connector.

EDIT.
oops, JUST saw that the video was posted in another thread already...

Great video, but also hammers home the fact that taking it apart that is beyond my comfort level.

Intersting comment about the SSDs being raided together to achieve the 1TB storage and the fact apple went out of its way to add temper proof stickers.

The SSD itself and its connector look to be similar to the iMac 5K, just with extra casing/padding.
RAMs look to be standard DIMMs.
CPU socket looks upgradable, but re-applying the paste may be a challenging part (?)
GPU is soldered as expected.

Doing away with the 3.5" HDD bay saved some space it seems, some of that space is used for full DIMMs, and it looks like the center heatsink is much larger than regular iMac's. The power supply is somewhat oddly placed to make way for the central air exhaust (?) and/or heatsink.

If only the screen is ripped off, throw away the speaker/subwoofers, then fold this whole thing into a Cube sized chassis...

SSDs definitely have a new connector layout.
