I have a 20" Imac, one of the earlier aluminum ones. It has Leopard with the latest updates. Several times it has refused to wake from sleep. I've had to shut it down using the power button and then turn it on again. When I wake it, something turns on because I can hear some mechanical sound (fan or HDD) that stops when the computer turns off. Nothing happens on the screen. I don't know if it's just the display that won't wake, or what.

I had another problem lately. I was watching a Youtube video when suddenly the computer froze and some glitchy sound repeated over and over. Again, I had to manually turn the computer off.

Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
