I have been using LibreOffice for ages, but now when I open it now I get the following message.

"Either another instance of LibreOffice is accessing your personal settings or your personal settings are locked.
Simultaneous access can lead to inconsistencies in your personal settings. Before continuing, you should make sure user 'Myname' closes LibreOffice on host 'MyName-iMac.local'."

I am the only user of the iMac and I Force Quit the App and when I open it again I get the same message.
I can't find anything in "System Preferences" but I may not be looking in the correct area.

Any help would be appreciated...

This may sound simplistic, but have you tried shutting the computer down (all the way off), and then rebooting?
