Okay....I have an old iMac that I got for christmas a couple years ago, I can't remember the exact year but I believe it was 2005. It is a Polycarbonate iMac. A couple years ago, I tried to reinstall the installation disks and it wouldn't complete the installation after installation disk 2, it said there was an error. I called Apple and asked what I should do and they told me to press the "c" key and try isntalling again. I tried that but it didn't work. The thing is, I don't have the original installation disks. I am using a couple different disks that I borrowed from someone. I have one for a 2003 iMac, one for an upgrade for a 2005 iMac, and one that is OSX 10.4 for a macbook. None of them work and I dont want to buy the original installation disks because what I really want to do is install Windows 7 on.

Can anyone please give me some advice on what I should do?

Thanks
