Imac problem

I have an imac and it sticks on apple logo screen when I put the mount -uw on terminal and it won't open nor in safe mode and when I put the DVD I side it justs throws it out all tests are good even with the d button when it starts help me

Try this, hold the option key at startup, wait until the boot manager arrives, then insert DVD, refresh it (there is a button to refresh, if the DVD shows up select it and hit return.

Just something to try, have you reset the PRAM? I've seen that fix some strange issues like that.
