Two questions:

1. When do you think the new model iMacs will be sold as refurbs.

2. I Called MacMall and asked if they had any promos or discounts because Leopard will be out soon and I'd need to upgrade. They said they couldn't do anything. I'm sure other people are in my spot too, won't buy the iMac until they put the OS on saving the install trouble as well as the price.

Thanks as always:)

1. When people start returning them or Apple encounters problems that require a swap. Finding refurbs is a matter of diligence, especially for new models.

2. Apple will start selling machines with Leopard pre-installed sometime during the next 4 weeks.

It's "pull the trigger" not "pull the plug," unless you're talking about letting someone die.

I'd say end of this month you could strike it lucky, I think apple bundles an upgrade disc in with refurbs, so Tiger will probably be installed on it, but there should be a Leopard upgrade disc in there too.

I would guess they could simply reload the software?
