I just bought my second mac an imac and i got me the printer with the rebate. My question is i tried to hook it up but i think i need a usb cable that was not supplied. Am i supposed to buy one separate? Because the imac cant find the device when i try to install it. Thanks!

yes, you have to purchase a USB cable for those particular HP printer models. You tried installing it without it being hooked up? peculiar.. but yeah, you need that USB.
