iMac Questions

Bought my iMac in 2007, its an Intel Core 2 Duo with 2.4 GHz Processor. I'm running OS 10.5.8

Not having any major issues with it, besides not enough hard drive space. Just wonder why (in Finder) there is a number after the computer name. I has increase over time and is now at 873.
