I am considering upgrading RAM on my iMac and have read many of the previous posts concerning RAM.
I know about going with a dealer that guarantees Mac compatability as well as has a lifetime replacement warranty.
I was looking at OWC's website and used their navigation tool to get to the RAM compatible with the iMac G5.
http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/iMac-G3-G4-G5/G5/
What I don't understand is, there are 2 1GB sticks offered; one for $129 and one for $143.99.
Since they guarantee compatability and have lifetime replacement, what is the benefit of the higher-priced RAM?
I just don't understand the difference.
Thanks in advance for any help.
