Quick question:
Would a RAM stick from my Alu iMac work in an old iBook..?

(1GB DDR2 SDRAM 667 MHz / 256 MB DDR SDRAM PC2700U-25330)

I think it might, but at the lower speed perhaps.

Any help/advice appreciated.

The iBook you refer to takes DDR while the Alu iMac takes the more modern RAM type; DDR2 ....

Regarding the DDR2 RAM being recoginised that refers to those iBooks needing PC2100 DDR266 RAM but supporting PC2700 RAM at the lower speed of 266MHz.

Having said that, DDR2 RAM is not supported in Macs that need DDR RAM, so it would never work.
