Hello,

I've already made a thread before asking that:
How many RAM Slots does the latest iMac has? Cause I've read it has 4 RAM Slots.
And If I buy 8GB RAM then it means I will toally have 12GB RAM which is sick and really worth it!
Btw, Does anyone know what's the maximum RAM the iMac of the $1200 USD one supports? and again, How many RAM Slots does it have?

Thank you very much! :)

Current iMacs have 4 RAM slots. They are supplied with 4GB (2x2GB) and can take up to 16 GB (4x4GB).

Is it possible for me to buy 2x4GB And keep these I get with the iMac then I will have all together 12GB RAM? ( 2x2GB and 2x4GB ) ?

Thanks for the replies!
