Extra details would be helpful. What OS version do you have? Have you installed new software or plugged in a new device recently?

I have dev account and just downloaded the latest beta other than that did a fresh install of mavericks before had, turned on firewall and password on wakeup. I haven't had a shut since disabling firewall and password protect?
