Updating the macbook airs and the macbook pros but leaving the iMac with 14 month old components is a slap in the face.

Agreed. At bare minimum update the dang processors in the iMac to keep up with the rest of the line up. Please encourage others to leave feedback on that link. Every bit counts.

Done also. Asked about plans to refresh (knowing it would never be announced ahead of time anyway) and mentioned I'm a first time buyer and the likelihood of me purchasing a model over 12 months old is somewhat remote.

I'm with you guys on this one, was hoping to order two iMacs for work today. Disappointed that there was no updates despite the fact the last one was over a year.
