just got back from COMPUSA.
they have the older version of the iMAC 20" for a good price.
now im not sure whether to call this rev A or rev B.
here is the link to the computer that i'm talking about:
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APP...xGo9Ve/2.0.0.11.1.0.6.7.3.5.1.1.0.1.5.1.0.5.0

anyhow, how long do you think these computers will be available to buy until they are all sold out. my problem is that i can only buy a computer after the 26th of June. Do you think that the COMPUSA will still sell them by then.... what about the apple store/ apple online store???? is there any difference between buying at compusa/apple.. pros, cons? any info that i should know of.

@ compusa the imac 20" is at 1,500. i know apple sells it for that price. but for right now the price is very attractive to me, since i can pick it up in STORE and pay no tax (N.H) even though its an older rev.

thanks.. sk8R

(do you think this comp is a good deal??)
(can i talk compusa down.. or do they sell on at standard prices?)

The 20" 1.8 GHz iMac G5 is the first revision if that is what you are talking about? Your link to the Apple store has timed out as expected. If you think the iMac G5 is good value why don't you lay by it (is it called that all over the world? you put a deposit down and pay it off over a month or 2 then you can take it home)?

how long do you think the imac rev a 20'' will last at apple online .. apple stores .. or compusa???

thanks
