Hey All,

tbh I hardly ever use my iMac but when i do it just seems slow and sometimes unresponsive!

I have the Late 2012 iMac 27' 3.4ghz, 8GM Ram, 3TB Fusion

also start up and shutdown times aint the best!

What could be causing this do you think?

Thanks

Try running Disk Doctor, download the free app Memory Clean and see how full your memory is, check to see which programs are running on your computer as you boot the computer.
I have a feeling that you've got programs that are running in the background and eating ram.

If none of this works then you may have a hardware issue.

Hey All,

I have the Late 2012 iMac 27' 3.4ghz, 8GM Ram, 3TB Fusion Double the RAM to 16GB won't cost you much and is easy to do (on your model)

also start up and shutdown times aint the best! Then why shut it off all the time? I never do, just put it to sleep.

What could be causing this do you think? Depends on what youu are running or trying to do.

Thanks

Remember to love your iMac everyday, and it will love you back!
