Back in the good old days of CRT screens, when you had the odd magnetic colour issues, you'd de-gauss it to shock it back to it's natural state. Is there a way you can 'shock' a 24" iMac screen to it's natural state, as I keep getting impressions of open windows burned into the desktop after having been open for approx 10 mins or more? As I look at it at the moment, I have a solid light blue desktop background (no image) and I can just about see the impression of an picture I had open not long ago. If I darken the screen, it's really pronounced.

Is there a solution?
