Hi,

I'm looking for some sort of shelf to hold an external drive for my soon to be 27" iMac.

I really like the look of the Just Mobile Alurack as seen here http://www.just-mobile.eu/mac/alurack-1.html. It's engineered to a high quality and looks perfect. The problem is that I believe the internal width at the bottom of the lip is 21mm and the drive I want is 22.35mm. So close.

Do you have an Alurack? What is your measurement of the bottom internal width (in case manufacturing tolerances are poor)?

Do you know of any other shelves like the Alurack?

I am aware of the Elago Pro Hanger but I don't know it's internal width and it has no way to route cables when it's in use (unlike the Alurack).

I also know about the Twelve South BackPack but I'm not that keen on it's clunky fixing mechanism, reviews state that it can slip.

Thanks.
