So I adore my mac, It's a nice computer to have but for a long while now, I've been having issues that really make me regret certain things.

I say issues, it's all pretty much the same.

For example, I have a few friends on a Minecraft server that I help out from time to time and when I first bought this mac, no issues at all. A while after that, my mac started having issues on Minecraft. It simply froze, no response from anything whatsoever so each time I had to force-restart it.

This issue then leaked into my other performance games such as TF2 and an MMORPG. Not long after that, It rarely crashed during normal things such as Youtube or Google searching.

The screen broke a long while ago and I sent it to the repair shop, not apple-owned, and in the few weeks following that everything was fine. No freezing at all. But then it started happening again and I honestly cannot put up with it longer.

My iMac is a:
Snow Leopard 10.6.8
Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD 2400

I'll answer any questions, I just need to know why this is happening.
