My iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4GB 800MHz ram sounds like an alarm clock.

A couple of times when I´ve been working on my Mac, it has suddenly started to beep. The sounds is coming from my speakers.

It beeps four times rapidly "beep, beep, beep, beep", halv a second pause and then again "beep, beep, beep, beep". This continues until I restart.

This has happend two times in different programs, and I´ve tried to quit all applications without any result. The sound keeps repeating until I restart...

Does anybody know what this is?
