iMac Speakers

Hey everybody, I am going to purchase a new iMac hopefully by the end of the summer, but I was just wondering how the speakers are on the current iMac. I work with music, and I am definately going to buy a 5.1 surround speaker set, but just out of curiosity, how are the default speakers? Are they any good, or are they just built in but you are kind of expceted to purchase your own set of speakers. Thanks

The built in speakers aren't too bad. For soft background music I am sure they are fine. However as you stated, since you are working with music you will want to get something a bit better.
