Hello,

I recently purchsed an Imac for office work, light gaming, amateur photo editing, and light photoshop....the first use being 75%.

Specs:
i5 quad core 2.7

16gb ram

256ssd

Iris pro.

How long should this last for my uses? Im hoping to get 5 years out of it. More would be nice though.

Thx

Even 8GB of RAM and a 1TB Fusion Drive would last you for 5 years if office work is what you use most of the time.

Still is nice to have an SSD, 8gb would've been fine i agree with yjchua95

In this case, I'll assume the OP will want to keep everything internally.

For pure speed and reliability, SSD is the way to go, but since the OP doesn't have any need for full speed, a FD would be fine for him. So now it's a matter of personal preference for him.
