I really need help. My problem is starting apps with wifi turned on. The problem is, when starting any app e.g. chrome, Excel, Word, Viber, it takes forever to start. But when I turn off my wifi, it loads in less than 2 seconds. I dont know what the problem is.

The only solution I find is when I turn off my wifi, every single app loads very quickly (within 2 seconds).

As soon as I turn on my wifi, everything loads between 12-20 seconds slower. I can't figure it out except I know it's something to do with wifi.

My 4 year old MacBook Pro launches any app faster. I have tried rebooting to safe mode, reseting NVRAM, and even reinstalling Mac OS Mojave. I didn't have this problem with High Sierra.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have Mac OS Mojave. iMac Retina 5k 27 inch with 40gb memory.
